Easter weekend is the perfect time of year to spend with your family - a long weekend, lots of tasty food and a chance to take a moment and make some fun memories together.
Of course, it’s not Easter without plenty of chocolate, but for us, Easter is really all about a good Sunday Roast - with big plates piled high with all the trimmings. We would usually be busy serving you a delicious Sunday Lunch for Easter, so you can relax and enjoy some time with your family but things are going to look a little different this year.
There’s still plenty of fun to be at Easter. We’re sharing our favourite kids activities to keep little ones busy over Easter weekend.
Cut two egg holders from an old carton and glue together.
Paint and, once dry, add a cardboard beak draw on some eyes.
Cute and eco-friendly!
Reuse some old pillow cases and have a sack race!
Attach a bunny tail to your ‘sacks’ for extra authenticity, and make sure you have plenty of chocolate-y prizes on hand.
Add some excitement to your traditional Easter Egg Hunt by painting one of your eggs gold.
Whoever finds the golden egg gets bragging rights or an extra special prize!
